A beautiful antique Chinese famille rose medallion oval platter, dating circa 1891–1921. Richly decorated in the classic Rose Medallion tradition, the platter features figural court scenes alternating with floral, bird, and butterfly reserves, all framed by intricate green and gilt ornamentation.
The underside features a sandcast-style unglazed foot and China mark, consistent with the period. A wonderful smaller-scale platter for a plate wall, cabinet, tabletop easel, or layered chinoiserie display.
Dimensions: approximately 9" x 7"
Condition: Overall fantastic antique condition with a few rough spots along the rim consistent with age. Please review all photographs closely as part of the description.
